I created the new video on the fly, forgive the quality of the result, but, above all, forgive the quality of the drummer. The HH works with Hall effect, but I still have to fine tune the magnet’s distance from the sensor … The crash is Yamaha and the ride is Roland but the rest is the work of my hands.

At the end of the video you can see microDrum “naked” version, the space between the jacks with the new PCB is not compatible with the old box, I’ll have to redo the holes or change the box…Ho montato al volo il nuovo video, perdonate la qualità del risultato, ma , soprattutto, perdonate la qualità del batterista.

Massimo, just gave another look to this video and I’m almost shocked! could you confirm that those toms are Yamaha Stage Series from the 80s??? In that case we should talk a bit about them since I’ve just recieved a shell pack of the same type!!! :)

I confirm! The entire drumset is a Yamaha from the 80s. I just removed the black wrap and I painted with shellac. The snare is a Premier of the same year.

Just great! I’m having some pain in removing the covers :( How you did it? my shells have an awful lot of glue and I don’t know how to clean it, I fear to damage the wood. How many pieces is your kit? i’ll share you some pics of mine by mail and also have to say that I’m missing the mid tom…

It was really difficult to remove the wrap, I had to remove the glue by hand using a spatula (scraper?). But however the wood is damaged, especially the floor tom. If you use it as an acoustic drum I do not recommend to do it.
